Have you chosen a career? If you're like me, you have several ideas. I want to be a fashion editor or a master chef. Of course, these may change. One of my sisters wants to be a photographer. The other sister wants to be a lawyer.

Whatever I decide means I have to plan for college and this means my grades in high school are very important to my future. So, I spend lots of my time studying.

There are several universities and community colleges locally that I could attend. You can see that I have some decisions to make before I graduate high school.

Yes, I want to be a professional photographer. I have a digital camcorder and a Poloroid camera (to set up shots).

About a month ago, I was invited to film interviews of teens with jobs. This was at the local Renaissance Festival. The producer of a kids/teens television show set it up. At first I was nervous, however, once we started I forgot about being nervous and had a wonderful time filming different teens in costume. The producer was very pleased with my work. I'll let you know when the film is finished and, perhaps, they'll let me show some clips here on the website.

When I graduate from high school, it's off to film school for me. Universal Studios has facilities about 250 miles from my home. We - my grandmother, sister and I - took a tour of the studios. I learned a lot on the tour. I also visited the makeup section where they made me up to look like I was in a horror film. I kept the makeup on through dinner at a restaurant. That was fun.

Who knows, I may change from photographer to another career in the future. You can bet I'll take my cameras with me.
